WebEdit offers an affordable Pay As You Go pricing structure plus a totally free product download.  This means that you get the full version of the product for use on your LocalHost absolutely FREE OF CHARGE! 

If you like WebEdit you then only need to pay for the live domain names on which you use it.  So, for example, if you wish to use it on 3 separate domain names then you would only need to purchase 3 domain licenses and that's it.  Nothing for the initial software, no ongoing costs, just the live domain licenses.  What's more, we offer discounts for multi-domain purchases so the more you buy the more you save.

What constitutes a "Live Domain"?

A live domain is any domain name other than LocalHost or one of its port variations (i.e. LocalHost:8080).  The domain name may be used on an internal Intranet or on a publicly accessible website.  Sub domains also constitute a live domain name so, for example, www.App1.MyCompany.com would be a different domain name to www.App2.MyCompany.com.

Why Pay As You Go?

From our research we have realised that content management systems tend to fall into two camps.  The cheaper ones that come in the form of generic standalone WYSIWYG editors and the expensive ones that come complete with "Out Of The Box" CMS functionality. 

While the WYSIWYG editors are good the website developer has to implement all of the login, saving and security code required in order to turn it into a workable CMS system.  While this may suite some, in the real world, it can be time consuming and costly.  The expensive ones on the other hand come with enough, if not more than enough, functionality in place to make them a CMS system out of the box but they can cost £1000's just to get hold of. 

With WebEdit, we want to bring the "Out Of The Box" CMS functionality at an affordable price.  No large up front costs, no complicated charging structures....just an open an honest Pay As You Go pricing system so that you know where you stand.
